It’s a great experience for the whole family
Lucito Silvestre 3 weeks ago

It’s a great experience for the whole family, I would say, this is one of the best places we’ve ever visited since we arrived in Australia. We really enjoyed the day and it’s a great opportunity for our boys to learn things about sea creatures not just for them but for us also as parents. Hope we will able to visit again SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast in the future.

We took our 6 month old to SEA LIFE Mooloolaba for the first time

We took our 6 month old to SEA LIFE Mooloolaba for the first time, we enjoyed our experience. I was impressed with the parents room! The seal show is entertaining (except we had to leave our pram while in the auditorium) The shark tank is a pretty cool experience (note the sun light flickers through the water which can be hard on the eyes) I would highly recommend a visit, family friendly!

We got a great deal for SEA LIFE through Experience Oz
Courtney Kennedy Brown 1 month ago

We got a great deal for SEA LIFE through Experience Oz. Experience Oz is extremely easy to use and will definitely be using again. SEA LIFE was a little underwhelming. Our kids 4yrs, 3yrs and 2yrs didn't enjoy it as much as we thought they might have.

SEA LIFE was great

SEA LIFE was great! The seal show was interesting and all the fish that were on display looked amazing. It only took us about 2 hours to go through the whole place so it isn't a full day out but still great to take little kids. We went on the school holidays so it was packed the kids loved touching the starfish on display.

This is a great place for adults and kids

This is a great place for adults and kids. The shows are good and plentiful. It’s clean and well kept. Little cafe has great hot chips and gravy. The overhead aquarium tunnel is excellent with a really beautiful array of fish. The staff are knowledgeable and like to answer questions.

Great day out for the whole family. Definitely wouldn’t pay full price, so glad we had the buy one get one free voucher. Seal show was great, they rip you off with their photos and food though. Kids absolutely loved all the different animals, most of them were unique.

Was a great day out

Was a great day out! The seal show was amazing that we stayed to watch it a second time. Was busy due to raining but staff were quick to get people in that we only waited 5 minutes. Staff very informative and helpful. Would highly recommend this to anyone that has children.

Overall

Overall, the whole experience was fun! Upon entering they take your photo with a few poses so you can view them later. Then, you straight away see stingrays that can pop out of the water and huge starfish to adore. My wife and I were quite impressed by all the different species of animals at the aquarium, many of which we've never seen before. There are three levels to walk through, each providing a different experience. From the underwater tunnel to kids area, to the Finding Nemo area, there were unique elements to them. It's a nice place to brings kids as there are plenty of sections for them to play. We managed to catch the afternoon seal show which was entertaining and throughout the day there are several educational demos around the aquarium. We managed to see everything in a couple hours or so but one could stay there longer to read and learn more about the species. Perhaps one of our favourite sections is the jellyfish kingdom as it was really cool to see them up close and illuminated. It's also right towards the end before you pickup photos. I appreciate the staff who were really encouraging people to be environmentally friendly as it impacts marine life. As QLD's biggest aquarium, I'd say it was a good value for the price.
